Election 2024

Election Information:

The District's Board elections take place in November every two years, with alternating four-year terms. 

Two full-term seats, and one short-term seat, are up for election in 2024.

The Requirements for Running for a Board Seat are:

1. You must be a resident within the District's boundaries. View the boundary map by clicking here.

2. You must be a registered voter. Register to vote by clicking here.

Below is a schedule of key dates and deadlines for the 2024 General Election:

  • July 15, 2024 - Candidate Filing Begins for All Offices
  • August 9, 2024 - Candidate Filing Ends for All Offices
  • October 1, 2024 - Voter Guide Delivered to Post Office
  • October 7, 2024 - Early Voting Begins
  • October 21, 2024 - Voter Registration Deadline
  • October 29, 2024 - Deadline to Request Replacement Mail Ballot
  • November 5, 2024 - Election Day

Where to File:

Pulling filing papers and filing them directly with the Registrar of Voters is highly recommended, however you may also schedule an appointment to pull filing papers from the District's Clerk at 760-868-1212 (Note: paperwork received from the District Clerk must still be filed with the County).
