seniors

In addition to being home to our community centers, our parks are also home to our Phelan Seniors and Piñon Hills Seniors groups.  These groups provide a variety of weekly events that range from game days to free lunches.

Free lunch

Whoever said that there is no such thing as a free lunch never went to one of our monthly Free Senior Lunches.  These lunches, held at our community centers, are offered on a monthly basis free of charge to Senior residents in the Phelan and Piñon Hill communities.  Our Phelan community center hosts a free lunch on the first Wednesday of every month starting at 12 pm and our Piñon Hills community center hosts a free lunch on the third Thursday of every month starting at 12 pm.

Senior Events

With events ranging from our Annual Senior Health Fair to Christmas in July to weekly game days, square dance lessons, and potlucks, Seniors of all ages can find something fun to do.  Check out our senior events calendars at our community centers to find out what's going on this month or contact us to learn more.

community engagement

Our senior groups are committed to reaching out to the community and connecting seniors with those that they can help.  Every summer, our seniors host and teach our Kids Craft classes where kids have an opportunity to learn to make a variety of fun items.
